Colophon
How a new release gets onto the site, what number it gets, how its pictures are made, what a phone is allowed to download, which faces it is set in, and what a page has to pass before it is done.

The faces
- Titles, section heads, register namesLibre Caslon Display
The serif of Cody's paper voice, OFL. It sets every title, section head and register name, down to a row name on a phone.
- One bitmap headline per screen, 32px and aboveRoyal Archive Bitmap
Cody's own pixel derivative of the same serif. Never smaller than 32px, one per screen: the title.
- The pixel register: numbers, the rail, pennantsPress Start 2P
OFL. The number series, the rail label, NEW.
- Body and metaSpace Grotesk
Space Grotesk 400 and 600 for body (OFL). The mono register: JetBrains Mono, bundled and subset to Latin like every face here. Young Serif and Hanken Grotesk appear inside the SUN and LabOS pages only, because those are SUN's and the app's own faces.
The release number
The sequence begins with the oldest recorded projects. Once assigned, a number stays with that project. New entries take the next available number, even when an older project is added later. Changing a date or rearranging a page does not renumber the work. Related pieces, such as the MEGA jar and vape, share a family number. An undated entry keeps its place without claiming when it was made.

How a release gets added
The release file
The MEGA release file, as it opens. The front matter is the row; the body is the build notes. The project keeps its assigned number across rebuilds.
